The Return Of Jason Pierre Paul
After the game against the Browns all I can say is “JPP JPP JPP” He has been phenomenal. He finished the game with 7 tackles 3 sacks and one fumble recovery for a touchdown forced by Johnathan Hankins. Jpp has truly made it back to full form. I don’t think he has played like this since before the fireworks accident. Jpp stats for the season are as follows 50 tackles, 7 sacks 8 passes defended (Career High) and a Forced fumble for a touchdown. He will easily eclipse double digit sacks and warrant a hefty contract. Which the Giants must pay if they want to keep him around.
Jason Pierre Paul has made it back from the impossible. His hand was blown to pieces and he was written off as a dumb immature guy who wouldn’t make it back in this league. There was a different Jpp after the injury though he seemed more determined than ever to prove people wrong, but to also prove something to himself. He became a father to his son Josiah and has become a true leader on and off the field. That is no coincidence Jpp has gone from a man trying to get back into the locker room to a veteran who commands respect in the locker room.
There was an immediate change in Jpp’s posts to all his social media accounts. He documented his workouts which are epic. He began to become much more focused on his Christianity and always sharing uplifting posts an videos. The great part about his change is it wasn’t just off the field and on social media. His play on the field has changed to. He is back to being a game wrecker the player the offense has to account for, but if you ask him it’s his teammates that make it all possible.
The videos definitely got the fan base hype for the upcoming season and Jpp hasn’t disappointed. He hasn’t disappointed off the field either. He has come out against fireworks and advises kids and adults to stay away and leave it to the pros. He has really shown the fans and the organization that he has turned the corner.
The strength and courage it takes to come back from an injury like that is extraordinary. Jason Pierre Paul has exemplified all those traits and then more.
#Jpp is an absolute animal he has proven the doubters wrong. His comeback is nothing short of amazing #GiantsPride

The Giants will need to dig deep into their check books to keep Jpp especially if he plays all 16 games and continues on this sack streak. The Giants will keep winning and so will his guaranteed money. Jason Pierre Paul may want and be looking at the type of money Vernon got or not far off. If the Giants do sign him to a big money deal they will most likely have the most expensive D-line in the NFL.
