Supplemental Draft Pick Sam Beal Out For The Season
Giants 3rd round supplemental draft pick Sam Beal is expected to miss the season with a shoulder injury. He seemed poised to make an impact in a defensive backfield that is lacking behind Janoris Jenkins and Eli Apple.
The players behind them are Veterans William Gay and B.W. Webb along with the unproven Donte Deayon. The Giants need help at cornerback with Sam Beal out. While it would be nice to see DRC back in a Giants uniform it is unlikely. They simply don’t have the cap space to sign him.
With training camp getting underway today. The direction Pat Shurmur and Dave Gettleman go after this injury will become clear.
