Giants Sign Veteran RB Jonathan Stewart
Yes, we are just as lost as everyone else as to why Dave Gettleman’s first move was to sign a running back that will be 31 at the start of the season. If the timing isn’t funny the contract details are even more puzzling. 2 yrs $6.9 million with $2.95 guaranteed and up to $8.2 million. One thing stands out to here Gettleman may be trying to change the culture with this signing as Jonathan Stewart is a “lunch pail” type of player. The big question is what does Orleans Darkwa get on the open market that will really determine if this deal was as bad as it looks.

I personally think it was a bad move figuring there’s more young talentedbackscoming out the 2018 NFL draft?

Yeah it seems to be more of a locker room/Leader signing.
